This page describes exactly what skylabinnovations.com collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. It covers this website only — not any system we build and hand over to a client, which runs in that client's own accounts under their own policies.

The short version

If you fill in a contact form

Both the form at the bottom of the home page and the pop-up form behind the call-to-action buttons send us what you type:

We store nothing until you submit. If you open the pop-up, answer a question or two and then close it, none of that reaches us — the answers live only in your browser's memory until you press the final button, and nothing is saved to your device along the way.

We use this to reply to you and, if you consented, to follow up by email about working together. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing is permanent — a later form submission from anyone will not put you back on the list. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not record your IP address with your submission. It is used momentarily, in memory, to rate-limit abuse and for the bot check below, and then discarded; only a yes/no flag that a request had an address at all is kept.

The anonymous page-view ping

Each page sends one small, anonymous message so we can tell how many people reach the site. It contains only:

There is no cookie, no stored identifier, no local storage, and no fingerprinting of any kind. Nothing in it can single you out or connect one visit to another, and it is not joined to any form submission. The code is small and readable if you'd like to check: /assets/js/beacon.js. Blocking it changes nothing about how the site works.

Who else is involved

These are service providers acting for us, not partners we sell data to. We use no advertising, tracking, retargeting, or social media pixels anywhere on this site.

How long we keep things

Form submissions and the consent record are kept while we are in contact and for as long as we may need to show that consent was given. Ask us to delete them and we will, except where we must keep a suppression record so an unsubscribe is honoured. Anonymous page-view counts are aggregate and are not tied to anyone.

Your choices

Write to samir@skylabinnovations.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, send you a copy, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to how we use it or to complain to your data protection regulator. You do not need an account and we will not make you jump through hoops.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not intended for, or directed at, children.

Changes

If this notice changes we will update the date at the top. Skylab Innovations is a sole-trader consulting practice operated by Samir Grouicha in North Carolina, USA; the data described above is processed in the United States.
